Harmony Health Clinic Seeks Volunteer Dentists; Impact of UAMS Pause in GPR Program

Loving,Mother,Holding,Her,Child,In,The,Bomb,Shelter

Harmony Health Clinic, a year-round free dental care clinic in Little Rock, has been impacted by UAMS’ decision to implement a one year pause in the General Practice Residency (GPR) program. The pause in the program has created an interruption in the number of dentists who are available to volunteer at the clinic, prompting Harmony to make a direct appeal to Arkansas dentists through ASDA:

Help Us Bring More Smiles: Volunteer Dentists Needed at Harmony Health Clinic

Fellow Arkansan Dentist,

First, thank you for your generosity and dedication to our Arkansas community. Your time and compassion make a real difference, and as Harmony Dental Clinic, we wanted to share an incredible opportunity to continue to help even more people in our community.

Harmony Health Clinic is a non-profit dental clinic providing free fillings, extractions, partials, and dentures to uninsured and underserved individuals in Central Arkansas. We currently have a long waitlist of patients, but not enough volunteer dentists to meet the need.

Here’s where you can help:

We’re seeking dentists to volunteer just 4 hours of their time—any time of day, any day of the week that works best for you. Whether once or twice a month, your time can make a huge impact. We provide our own dental assistants—you just bring your expertise and your heart.

By simply donating 4 hours, you can help us chip away at the backlog and give patients the relief and care they’ve been waiting months for.

If you’re interested in volunteering or have any questions, feel free to email (tguzman@harmonyclinicar.org) or call (501-375-4400). Let’s keep spreading smiles together.
