He went on to graduate from the University of Arkansas where he met Marsue and they both moved back to Memphis for Dan to attend Dental School at the University of Tennessee. He was part of many medical mission trips where he used his skills as an oral surgeon to relieve the suffering of others. He had a love of people and of life that radiated to all those who knew him. In recent years Dan and Marsue moved to Fayetteville where he was often able to cheer on the Razorbacks.

In lieu of flowers the family requests that donations be made to Dan and Marsue’s church, Vintage Fellowship, by going to vintagefellowship.org or The SILAS Foundation through Grace Hospice Foundation by going to gracehospicefoundation.org. (Indicate SILAS on your donation).
